We started the drive to Paris from Hamburg on Friday at 11:30am and arrived round 10:30pm in the "City Of Love",Paris! Checked into the "Holiday Inn" Hotel, bring the baggies into our rooms and straight back to the Hotel Bar to have a drink! All the way on that "dusty Road" made us very thirsty! Right there we met Rhino, Mike Paxman and Bruno to have a beer or a Redwine maybe! Some funny chats we had and the night ended quiet early, because the next day should be the "show day"!Guess,we were all a bit tired and it had nothing to do with the show on the next day!hahaha Up then on Saturday morning, met downstairs for breakfast.Lekker! Then, there was a lot of time for us before we had to go to the venue, we walked through the "Parc de la Villette"!A very interesting Area, where loads of french peoples spend their time playing football, american football, jogging, or just have a walk!Right in the middle of it,we found the "Cabaret Sauvage".We also found the backdoor very quickly, because we got Herb on our side. He's like a Hound! If he gets to find the scents of beer or alcohol at all,it'll be very difficult to follow him so fast he walks then. But be sure .... if you can,you finally find something to drink. We had a short walk through the inside of the venue and what could we say? It looked much better than on the pics of their homepage.A huge stage, pretty good PA and very good Light there!Marvellous! Back at the Hotel we had to start with our Tourbus, which (btw)looks much better than the "Woodedz" one,to the venue!Bring the gear into the "Cabaret Sauvage" very quickly and then the time was right for brunch! Question:"Where's Matt?" - Answer:"He's just exploded!" Everything, simply everything was so perfectly organized by Bruno and all the other guys!Unbelievable! The Backstage area was a blast,we really felt like Superstars then. 7:30!!Showtime! We played nearly a full set, without great announcements between the tracks. So we can play the one or other song more. Setlist was: Bad Boy The Tramp Take All I Can Ride On B. Ocean Drive R'N'R Queen I Don't Mind A Little Letter Emergency Wanted Man/On The Run Telefonzelle For A Ride We Know Railroad Boogie ============ Roadhouse Blues Then "Woodedz" entered the stage.Very good set they played, with loads of "Quo-tunes" in it,written,or co-written by Rhino. It was a pleasure to share the stage with these guys, because they are no Ego's and have a lot fun in doing what they do!Like the whole "Woodedz-Clan".A bunch of crazy guys, but with a special taste of humour!"quiik quiik",we need a "plastic chicken",AC! Time to say "Thank you" to "the Association Quo France" for the Invitation and everything you all done to us,all the helping hands, everyone there at the "Cabaret Sauvage",Light,PA,etc,................. ..and like everytime to all who came bout us .... ...stood... ...or left!!
